About Plants vs. Zombies 2

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is the second part of the cult series of casual projects from ELECTRONIC ARTS. The original spawned a whole bunch of clones and copies of varying levels of quality and performance, but none of them reached the popularity of the original, and a huge number of players continue to this day to hold the defense against zombies with very resistant plants. Regular updates, improvements and expansions have turned the project into a complex and exciting way to spend time, supported by beautiful graphics and extensive development options for plants and their properties.

The premise is straightforward: you play with plants that try to save their master in every possible way. In Plants vs. Zombies 2 you are once again invited to go to the defense of the farmer’s house, which is attacked by hordes of zombies, using a huge range of plants that are able not only to fight, but also to perform other useful actions.

Gameplay

The game mechanics and controls have remained unchanged. You see a playing field divided into cells, where you need to place your plants. The usual order is to plant sunflowers first, then attacking plants. In the middle you can place nuts, which can slow down enemies, as well as burning pepper, which destroys any zombies.

To support your defense, you will need to collect sun and improve your plants. The more improvements a plant receives, the more zombies it destroys. Compared to the first part, the sequel received minor changes in the gameplay, in graphic terms, and in the set of plants, and it also introduces new colorful locations where you have to fight with zombies.

Plants and Strategy

In total, the developers offer more than 15 plants, each of which has certain skills. Some of them attack the zombies directly, while others perform useful supporting actions on the field.

Winning requires you to think over your strategy. You will have to change your approach, correctly allocate resources, and make use of both the strengths and the weaknesses of your plants. Plant your defenses in such a way that the zombies are not given a chance to break through to the house.
